CHASS Diversity

The College of Humanities and Social Sciences (CHASS) welcomes and supports diversity. We have made it our goal to embrace the diversity of each individual, diversity within and between groups, and diversity of cultures and cultural expressions. Diversity truly inspires creativity and achievement in our classrooms. Our commitment is to provide support services and instruction that ensure our College environment is free from bias and discrimination. Our mission is to prepare our students for the national and global workforce.

CHASS has one of the most diverse student bodies of any college at NC State. The college embraces people of all backgrounds, defined by, but not limited to, ethnicity, culture, race, gender, class, religion, nationality, sexual orientation, age, physical ability, learning styles, and political perspectives.
