Diversity in Humanities and Social Sciences

The College of Humanities and Social Sciences embraces diversity. We support the diversity of each individual, diversity within and between groups, and diversity of cultures and cultural expressions. We know diversity inspires creativity and achievement in the classroom and beyond our walls. We provide support services and instruction to ensure our college environment is free of bias and discrimination as we prepare students for the national and global workforce.

Our college has one of the most diverse student bodies of any college at NC State. We welcome people of all backgrounds, including ethnicity, culture, race, gender, class, religion, nationality, sexual orientation, age, physical ability, learning styles and political perspectives.
