Biography

Marcy and her family moved to North Carolina in 2010 after spending 10 years in New Haven, Connecticut. With a husband from Louisiana and a sister-in-law living in Raleigh, Marcy was thrilled to move south.  While in New Haven, Marcy worked at Yale University, first in executive education and then in development. As the daughter of a community college English professor, she has long been a passionate supporter of the Humanities and Social Sciences. 

Responsibilities

Marcy works with volunteer, college and university leaders to plan, implement and oversee a long-range development program to support the vision and funding priorities of the college.  Her favorite part of the job is meeting with NC State alumni and learning about their interests, experiences and areas of passion.
