Humanities and Social Sciences Student Ambassadors
Each year, we select a group of outstanding student leaders to represent the best our college has to offer. Our ambassadors, with diverse backgrounds and interests, demonstrate excellence not only through their academics, but a strong commitment to extracurricular activities and involvement.
Our ambassadors represent the college at various functions and events, and help us promote the innovative and purposeful learning our college fosters. They're also great resources for information: they share our extensive academic and research opportunities with prospective students and outside organizations. Prospective students and their families often comment that the advice they receive from ambassadors helps paint a true picture of what it means to be a Humanities and Social Sciences student.
Serving as an ambassador is an excellent way to hone leadership, communication and public speaking skills. Ambassadors must be Humanities and Social Sciences majors, have at least a 2.7 cumulative GPA and demonstrate engagement in college or university activities. Applications are available in mid-March for the following academic year.
